David the Dog Walker is now accepting applications for part time dog walkers.

David the Dog Walker is a highly reputable dog walking company located in West Seattle. We have been serving our community since 2006. We offer private, neighborhood walks to the residents of West Seattle. In our work with dogs we focus on safety, structure, compassion, and rewarding good behavior. Maintaining a stellar relationship with our clients is achieved though open and frequent communication.

The Job
Part Time Dog Walker.
11 per hour.
Paid training.
All work is located in West Seattle.
Dog walks occur each weekday M - F .
Shifts are typically 1030AM - 230PM, Monday - Friday. Approximately 20 hours per week, but no hours are guaranteed.

Description of dog walking duties
All client dogs are taken for private, on-leash, neighborhood walks.
Walks are typically 30 minutes in length.
Walks occur in the rain, sleet, and snow.
Dogs are walked at a fast and constant pace, with exercise as the main objective.
Proper pick up and disposal of pet waste.

Other duties might include
Distributing marketing materials to West Seattle businesses.
Participating in promotional events.
Attending dog behavior seminars.

Qualified applicants should have
Previous dog handling experience.
A mobile phone.
Reliable transportation.
Some knowledge of dog behavior.
A strong work ethic.
The ability to work alone.
Compassion for animal welfare.
Good communication skills - written and verbal.
